Car Insurance Jeep (Car Insurance). What kind of horsepower will this engine set up give me?

What kind of horsepower will this engine set up give me? I want to put a 460 in my 55 f100. The engine needs to be rebuilt so it will be bored to 30 over, and I am looking forward to putting a turbo kit on it. Also i want to but 2 fairly decent sized 4 barrel carburetors. Btw i know i will get horrific gas millage but i not concerned about that so no need for comment on gas millage. Thanks for any help.

The 460 is a great big block motor, which can be built as an all engine horsepower application.. With the right parts and design work, you can get just under 600 horses at the flywheel, without trying to build a turbo system or supercharging the engine. With the design of two carbs, I would look at running a "wet" system NOS tuned to about a 125-150 shot and you'll have years ov trouble free horsepower to work with. The other guy is right, turbos aren't really designed for a carb engine as you'll have to design a " BLOW_THROUGH" style intake, and a supersharger is a great alternative to use, but does require some major changes that can be very costly. Do it then put it on the dyno to find out. Turbos don't work well with carburetors, especially 2..

Jeep . How to Replace the Dash Lights on a Neon

Doge Neons use incandescent light bulbs mounted inside the instrument cluster to illuminate the gauges in the dash. If one of these bulbs burns out it will make it difficult if not impossible to operate the vehicle safely at night. Replacing the dash lights in a Doge Neon is a simple operation that can be completed by most vehicle owners. All you will need is a few simple tools, and an hour or two.
Difficulty:Easy
Instructions Things You'll Need
Wrench set
Flat blade screwdriver
Phillips screwdriverAccessing Dash Light Bulbs

Step by Step :
1
Disconnect the ground cable from the negative battery terminal. Use a wrench to loosen the retaining bolt. Then pull the clamp off the terminal.
2
Remove the dash top cover. The dash top cover is the panel that sits above the instrument cluster. Part of this piece also extends below and around the instrument cluster. Use a flat blade screwdriver to carefully pry the dash top cover away from the dash. Then remove it from the vehicle.
3
Unscrew the four screws that connect the instrument cluster to the housing, using a Phillips screwdriver.
4
Pull the instrument cluster toward the rear of the vehicle, but do not disconnect the odometer wire. You need to be able to access the back side of the cluster.
5
Remove the bulbs. The bulbs will be labeled on the back of the instrument cluster. Remove the burned out bulb or bulbs by turning them counter clockwise. Then pull the bulb out.
6
Insert a new bulb into the appropriate hole in the instrument cluster. Turn it clockwise to secure it.
Reinstalling Instrument Cluster

Step by Step :
1
Push the instrument cluster into position inside the cluster housing.
2
Screw the four retaining screws through the cluster mounting holes and into the dash, using a Phillips screwdriver.
3
Lay the dash top cover into position above the instrument cluster. Using the palm of your hand, carefully push down on the retaining clips, to secure the top cover.
4
Reconnect the ground cable to the negative battery terminal. Slide the clamp over the terminal. Then use a wrench to tighten the retaining bolt.
Tips & Warnings
Try not to touch the glass part of the new bulbs with your hands. The oils on your hands may decrease the life of the bulb.

Always disconnect the ground cable from the battery from the negative battery terminal before servicing any vehicle's electrical system. Failure to do so could cause short circuits and electric shock.

Jeep . How to Change the Light Bulbs in the Dash of a Dodge Intrepid

The light bulbs in the dash of a Dodge Intrepid may burn out over time. While they ought to last, theoretically, for the life of the vehicle, they often do not. There is no service life for the light bulbs, so you simply change them when they blow out. Replacement bulbs are available at any auto parts store. Simplly take the old bulb in and ask for a replacement bulb.
Difficulty:Moderate
Instructions Things You'll Need
Cross-point screwdriver

Step by Step :
1
Remove the two screws on the underside of the dash cowl.
2
Pull off the trim bezel that surrounds the gauge cluster and dash assembly by pulling it forward with your hands.
3
Remove the four screws that hold the gauge cluster in place.
4
Slide the gauge cluster forward, and remove the electrical plugs from the back of the cluster.
5
Replace the bulbs that are blown. Turn each bulb counterclockwise to unlock it from the dash cluster assembly, then pull the bulb straight out of the housing. Insert the new bulb, align the tabs on the bulb with the notches in the back of the cluster and turn it clockwise to lock it into the housing.
6
Reassemble the dash. Assembly is the reverse of disassembly.

involved are easy to adjust and replace.) And there are several additional good reasons to tune your car yourself: First, you can afford to tune your vehicle more often. This saves you even more money because a well-tuned car lasts longer than one that isn't. Second, a well-tuned car is a gas saver. You not only spend less money for fuel, but your vehicle produces less air pollution, too. Finally, if you tune your car yourself, you know whether it's been done properly, and you can adjust it yourself for peak performance. Before you read this chapter or attempt any of the work in it, be sure to read Chapter 5, which describes the different types of electrical systems on your car: the starting, charging, and ignition systems. It introduces you to their 474 Car Insurance audi a5 2010 32quattropremiumpluscoupe2d 3717

principal parts, tells you what each one does, and shows you what they look like and where to find them on your vehicle. If you try to work without that data, you'll be flying blind in dangerous territory! Also, be sure to read the sections in Chapter 1 called "Safety Rules" and "How to Take Anything Apart — and Get It Back Together Again" before you undertake any electrical work. All set? Great! Tackle ignition tune-ups first, and then get on to easy stuff like replacing fuses and adjusting, replacing, and aligning headlights. Hovf) Often \lou Should Tune \lour Car Tune-up intervals vary from one vehicle to another. Most older cars should be tuned every 10,000 to 12,000 miles or every year, whichever comes first. Newer cars with electronic ignition and fuel injection systems are scheduled to go from 25,000 miles to as many as 100,000 miles without needing a major

tune-up. See your owner's manual for recommended tune-up intervals, but be aware that even if it says that the vehicle doesn't require scheduled tune-ups very often, it's in your best interest to check periodically that it's working at peak efficiency. If you do a lot of stop-and-go driving or pull heavy loads (like a camper or boat), your ignition system may need to be tuned more often, no matter what type of system it is. Here are some of the symptoms that tell you that your ignition system probably needs to be tuned or adjusted: . Chapter 12: Keeping Your Electrical System in Tune V* The car stalls a lot. The spark plugs may be fouled or worn, the gap may need adjusting, or the idle speed or an electronic sensor may need to be adjusted. Stalling can also be caused by problems with the fuel system (see Chapter 13). If you're having trouble pinpointing the cause, you can help your automotive technician diagnose the problem if you're aware of whether the engine stalls when it's hot, cold, or when the air conditioner is on. e* The car gets harder to start. The problem can be in the starting system or can be due to an electronic component, such as the starting sensor or the ignition system's computer. It could also lie in the fuel system, so check that out, too. What ^ou Need to Do the Work in This Chapter When it's time to change your spark plugs and/or tune your car, have the items you need for each task assembled and handy before you begin. You probably already have some of these items. If you're buying tools, Chapter 2 describes them and provides tips on buying good ones. Everything should be easy to find at reputable hardware and auto supply stores. Before you go shopping, see the sections of this chapter called "Buying the right parts for your car" and "Understanding tune-up specifications." They can help you avoid what is probably the most annoying part of any automotive job: disabling your car to work on it only to find that you have to drive back to the store to exchange the stuff they sold you in error! It's a good idea to stick with parts from the same manufacturer as those that your vehicle originally came with. That brand may be listed in a service manual for your vehicle. If you don't have a service manual, tell the sales clerk at the auto parts store that you want OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts.

When you go to buy parts, keep in mind that most professional mechanics get discounts at auto parts stores. See if you can get a discount by telling them that you're installing the parts yourself. It can't hurt to try. Even if you don't get a price break, you're still ahead of the game because you don't have to pay labor charges. If you have an electronic or distributorless ignition system, almost the only work you'll need to do is to check and reinstall your spark plugs. Ignore the items on the following list that have just this symbol 0 in the margin next to them. They apply only to tuning up non-electronic ignition systems. 206 **art'": ^eeP'n9 ^our Car •" Good Condition, System by System Here's a list of the things you may need: * An old blanket or mattress pad or a padded car protector to place over the fender where you'll be working to protect it from scratches: Commercial car protectors often come with handy pockets that hold tools and little parts while you work. You can make such a pocket yourself by pinning up the bottom edge of your folded blanket or pad — or you can forget about it completely if you don't mind rummaging in your tool kit a lot. * Work clothes: Wear something that you won't mind getting stained with grease, oil, and other stuff. *
